Las Vegas International Lingerie Show is one of the largest lingerie shows in Unites States. The event caters to all the professionals related to apparel and fashion industry. I’m surprised that the fashion community has not done this type of plus size fashion show of this caliber before. Plus size does not mean being over weight and unhealthy…that is a big misconception. Many women work out three to five times a week and eat healthy. Spain and Germany embrace a women’s natural curves…maybe it’s about time the rest of the world opens their eyes and sees that stick thin isn’t always “in”.
The Southern Comfort Conference is a major tansgender conference that has taken place annually since 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lingerie football is fast becoming a favorite when it comes to lingerie events. Even Matthew Perry wants an episode of Lingerie Football on his new mid-season comedy show, Mr. Sunshine airing on ABC starring Salma Hayek in lingerie.
Day one of training camp for the 2010-2011 season has already started for the Dallas Desire team. The Texan team will face off against the San Diego Seduction in their first game, in September.
The teams will play in 7-on-7, full contact matches, in a league which originated from a Super Bowl halftime alternative television special called the Lingerie Bowl. The Lingerie Bowl airs every year as a pay-per-view event broadcast directly opposite the Super Bowl halftime show. It draws millions of viewers which caused it to spin off into an actual league.
The WWE Smackdown have their Diva’s wrestling in Bras & Panties and Lingerie. These wrestling matches are starting to become very popular and this is one match that always draws the most attention. It may not be a five start event, but when the bras and panties come out, people always seem to tune in. But, WWE gives these women wrestles very little air time, short matches and in my opinion hire more models than they do talented wrestlers that have trained for years to wrestle not model. Trained wrestlers are going to give you a better wrestling match than any model ever could, but that is just my opinion. There are also Bra and Panty matches where the female competitors wrestle and the winner being the first to strip her opponent to nothing but her bra and panties.
