Why Women Love Lingerie

Intimate Fashion: Sexy LingerieWhen I started doing some research for this post I wasn’t surprised that the number one reason women love lingerie so much is because it makes them feel sexy and good about themselves. One woman told me that no matter  what she is wearing on the outside, just  knowing that she is wearing sexy lingerie makes her feel more confident and sexy. It is something special that she does for herself and it makes her feel special and reminds her that she is worth it. What a wonderful way to start out the day…feeling sexy and confident!

Men tend to think that sexy lingerie is just beautiful gift wrapping for their wives or girlfriends, but sexy lingerie is much more than that. Men are only a part of why women like sexy lingerie. Women love sexy lingerie to compliment and beautify their bodies and to feel more sensual. It is a wonderful feeling to be wearing sexy lingerie that nobody but you knows you are wearing. It makes you feel so feminine and beautiful and it’s a little secret that every woman should have. It puts a smile on your face, and we all know that how you feel on the inside always radiates to how you look on the outside. So, if you are feeling confident, feminine, happy, secure, and sexy just think how that can affect your daily life!

Sexy Lingerie is for all women of every shape size and color. If you are a plus size woman, don’t shy away from sexy lingerie, your gorgeous curves are made be be flaunted and adorned just as much as a petite sized woman.

Caffeinated Cosmetics

A steaming cup of freshly brewed coffee invigorates us and helps us get rid of that early morning sluggishness and helps us to get into focus.  Now, if a cup of coffee can jazz up our morning sluggishness then just imagine what it can do for our skin.

Cosmetics containing caffeine are gaining in popularity because it has a rejuvenating effect on the skin. Caffeine reduces the puffiness of the eyes and firms and tightens the skin along with reducing eye irritation and dark circles under the eyes, so it is ideal when added to under eye creams and lotions.

Since caffine is a strong diuretic, it flushes out the toxins from the body which makes it a major contributor of antioxidants.

Using a shampoo infused with caffeine is a highly effective treatment for premature hair loss. Creams containing Caffeine can also assist in lowering the risk of skin cancer and help reduce the appearance of cellulite when applied to the the skin.

Mascara thickens eyelashes, but mascara infused with caffine enhances microcirculation so that lashes can look up to 117 percent longer after just one month of use.

So, detox your complexion, smooth and exfoliate your skin, thicken your eyelashes, de-puff your tired eyes, banish those dark circles, and moisturize your winter weary face  and hands with a little caffeine enhanced cosmetics along with your morning cup of  coffee.

High Fashion Canines

For centuries people have pampered their canines, lavishing them with top of the line foods, customized beds, and high fashion clothing.

A recent customer at my lingerie store wanted matching lingerie for her and her dog and inquired if I had  any matching sets. That question got me thinking about people and their pampered canines and just how far some people actually go.

I have seen monogrammed therapeutic doggie couches and beds that look more comfortable than what I can get for myself. Some people put more diamonds and pearls around their dog’s necks that cost more than I  will never be able to afford in two life times. But, than again there are more down to earth people that will dress their dog accordingly and fashionably that fit their dogs needs.

We all know Paris Hilton and her little Chihuahua named Tinkerbell whom she dresses  as her “accessory dog”. Paris Hilton once said in and interview  that “I have 17 dogs and I like to dress them, so I started designing this clothing line and it’s really cute, like dresses and jeans — everything you can imagine for humans, but for dogs”.  To me, this is quite disturbing. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs and have one myself that I love to death, but to dress them up in “people clothes” is ridiculous and uncomfortable for the dog  and in my opinion just poor fashion sense. A dog is not a fashion accessory.

Now, there is a flip side to dressing up your dogs fashionably. Some dogs really do need to wear a jacket or sweater, vests and boots.  The American Hairless Terrier and the Chinese Crested Hairless are two good examples of dogs that need to wear clothing when they go outside to protect their skin from the sun and cold temperatures. In extreme cold temperatures all short haired dogs could use a fashionable sweater…depending on the breed. I have a Doberman Pincher, a short haired dog, but she is just as comfortable in the cold  without wearing a sweater as she is the heat.

Working dogs are another dog that benefits the rewards of dressing fashionably. Hunting dogs need protection from the elements like rough terrain, cold water and weather, and other hunters. And lets not forget our most revered working dogs, the Military and Police dogs that put their lives on the line every day and Service Dogs that work relentlessly daily to help give their owns a better life.

So have a little more fashion sense people when it comes to your dogs….dress them accordingly and not just for fun!
